In an event of extreme rarity, British
band Blur are set to headline a performance in Hyde Park to
mark the closing of the capitals Olympic Games, giving more
appeal towards visiting London this summer.
It is a welcome addition to an already
incredible line-up at the BT London Live Event, set to be
unleashed on Hyde Park on August 12th; with the inclusion of
the iconic groups The Specials and New Order already
confirmed.
In an event designed to draw the
greatest show on earth to a close, it also marks the
alternative rock foursome's single live performance of the
year; the first since an appearance at the same venue three
years previous.
Rocking since 1991, the band have
released a string of seven albums, responsible for timeless
tunes like 'Country House', 'ParkLife', 'Song 2' and 'Beetlebum'.
Tickets for the event, which promises
to be one of the landmark live music events in the city,
will be available from Friday 24th February. If you want to
be apart of the event, be sure to book your place as soon as
you can. You could also take advantage of one of the
impeccable
London bed and breakfast locations the city offers,
allowing you to explore the English capital before and after
the show.
