Craft Central, the renowned
not-for-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening the
cultural reputation of craft and design, is once again
bringing its popular wedding fair to the capital this
spring. Taking place from 22 - 25 March at the
organisation’s headquarters in Clerkenwell, ‘Craft Central
Gets Hitched’ is a great way to discover work by some of
London’s most talented creative minds and their exciting
bespoke and bijoux crafts.
Inspired by a frustration with the
overabundance of highly commercial bridal fairs that run
throughout the year, Craft Central held their first last
year and, following the event’s success, have decided to
bring it back for 2012. Filled with fine examples of
fashion, invitations, decorations and much more, the
occasion offers a great day out for both couples planning
their big day and those looking to buy wedding presents.
