FILM4's
Fright Fest returns to London this August. Dubbed the
"Home of Horror" the festival, now in its 12th year, is
the U.K's premier fantasy and horror film festival. The
festival was originally conceieved by Paul McEvoy, Ian
Rattray and Alan Jones. The festival attracts audiences
and participants from all over the world
This
year’s festival runs from Thursday 23rd to Monday 27th
August with five packed days of premieres, previews,
personal appearances, signings and surprises. Events are
focused around the Empire Cinema on Leicester Square –
the UKs largest ‘traditional’ cinema. Submissions are
now open so if you have a film why not send it in!
If horror is your thing then why not make a week of it
and stay in
cheap London accommodation. Great rates are
available during the Bank Holiday Weekend.
