Amon Tobin to bring his music to London
Brazilian musician, composer and
producer Amon Tobin has announced he is to bring his
influential and inspiring electronic show to London. He is
set to bring Beyond 3D to the 02 Academy in Brixton; news
that will please his legions of fans.
He is highly regarded in the electronic
music industry, becoming familiar for his unusual slants in
sound design and music creation. Under the legendary Ninja
Tune record label, Tobin has released eight albums, with the
albums 'Bricolage' and 'Permutation' both receiving rave
reviews from critics.
Considered majorly influential in the
genre, he has masterminded the soundtracks for several films
such as the 2006 Hungarian production Taxiderma and former
Cannes Palme d'Or winner Divine Intervention. Tobin is also
credited for the musical backing of the video game Splinter
Cell: Chaos Theory, a successful release over a variety of
consoles.
Amon Tobin will be performing at
Brixton's 02 Acamedy on 12 May, with tickets available for
the event from the 20 January. The venue is expected to fill
