Ed Sheeran brings tour to London
Ed Sheeran has announced plans to
perform live in London later this year, bringing his
acclaimed folk rhythms to the capital as part of his UK
tour.
Sheeran began his career performing a
vast amount of intimate gigs most days, managing in 2009 to
complete 312 concerts within the year. He then became a
phenomenon on the internet, uploading a selection of his
songs on to the streaming website YouTube.
His career has taken off over the past
year, gaining an expansive fan base since the release of his
debut album '+'. It entered the UK Album charts at number
on, selling more than 102,000 copies in the first week.
Sheeran has also released a series of singles from the
album, firstly with 'The A-Team' and then 'You Need Me, I
Don’t Need You' and most recently 'Lego House'; all of which
saw top five success in the UK charts.
Sheeran will be performing at London’s
HMV Hammersmith Apollo on 15 October. Why not book your
