National Television Awards set for London Date
 

One of Britain’s premier award shows is hitting London this month as the cream of British television gear up to find out who has been the most successful over the past year.

The National Television Awards will be held at London's O2 Arena on the 25 January to reveal the kings and queens of our screens, including special awards meted out for the most deserving.

Alongside usual suspects, like Coronation Street and Eastenders, there will be some newcomers keeping their eyes firmly on the prize, such as Downton Abbey, a show looking to dislodge last year’s winner Waterloo Road for most popular drama.

One of the most intriguing battles will be for the coveted talent show award, which will see Britain’s Got Talent, Dancing on Ice, Strictly Come Dancing and The X Factor compete.
