New website launched to help travellers plan for London
games
With the capital gearing up for a
momentous summer, a new website has been launched called Get
Ahead of the Games in order to help those travelling to the
London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics escape the busier,
crowded areas in the capital and around the country.
The site,
http://www.getaheadofthegames.com/, (external) maps out
several areas to be affected whilst the biggest sporting
show on earth is in town, and top tips helping to plan your
journey.
The launch of the site comes less than
a week after the six month countdown celebration, where
opening ceremony artistic director and Oscar winning film
maker Danny Boyle revealed the theme for the show as ‘Isles
of Wonder’.
It could be the perfect source of
information for anybody venturing down to the capital for a
stay in one of the fine
London bed and
breakfast locations dotted around the city, offering the
perfect base for your London 2012 experience.
