Free Wi-Fi rolled out across
London taxi fleet
12/07/2012
The range of connectivity around London
is set to continue, after the second largest company in the
capital announced the arrival of free Wi-Fi across its
entire fleet.
Greentomatocars are the pioneers behind
the service, making the firm the first taxi cab company
across Europe to offer the facility. Users can take
advantage of the revolutionary service completely free of
charge, offering download speeds of up to 7.2Mbit/s and
uploads at 2Mbit/s. All passengers travelling with the
company have to do is enable wi-fi on their tablet,
smartphone, with the password to facilitate browsing being ‘ilovewifi’.
It comes as great news for the city,
which recently also signed a deal with internet giant Virgin
to offer Wi-fi facilities across a range of London
Underground stations. If you happen to be staying in any of
the
London hostels during the period, be sure to connect
completely free of charge while you travel to your
destination.
