Nearly 17 million tourists to
visit London this year

With such a dazzling array of events taking place in London
this year, it comes as no surprise that the capital is
attracting immense interest from tourists all over the
world.
In a recent poll conducted by credit
card company Mastercard, they predict that around 16.9
million people will visit London by air this year, marking
the highest levels of tourism anywhere in the world. It
leaves cultural hotspots such as Paris and New York behind,
with the pair finishing in second and thirteenth place
respectively. It was also tipped to attract the highest
international visitors spend at over $21.1million, again
ahead of New York which is expected for around $19.4
million.
With such positive tourism levels
predicted for the city, its clear London is one of the
