London performance this summer
20/06/2012
Legendary musician Tony Christie is preparing to elate an
audience in London this summer, with the one-off performance
by the star marking just one of the fantastic events to
enjoy in the city during the coming months.
A prolific star, Christie celebrated
half a century in show business last year, an incredible
achievement which has seen him sell more than 10 million
albums all over the world. Among his catalogue of hits
include the timeless singles ‘I Did What I Did For Maria’
and ‘Is This The Way to Amarillo’, peaking at number two and
number 18 on the UK Charts respectively. Another classic hit
is ‘Avenues and Alleyways’, probably more familiar as the
theme tune to the television show The Protectors. Audience
will be treated to all this and more, when one of the finest
musicians from the UK hits the stage once more.
Tony Christie will be performing live
at The Matcham room at London’s Hippdrome on the 13 July,
with tickets still available. If you are interested, why not
book your ticket together with a stay in one of the many
London bed and breakfast houses?
