LSE residences information- summer 2013

Our summer season runs from 6th July 2013 to 28th September 2013.

During the summer we offer our widest range of accommodation with seven different residences open and both catered and self-catered options available.
 

Bankside House
Location: Adjacent to Tate Modern on the South Bank.
Size: 256 single rooms, 32 single en-suite rooms, 154 twin en-suite rooms, 94 triple en-suite rooms, 16 quad en-suite rooms.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are normally served daily with no minimum size restrictions.
Availability: 6th July - 28th September 2013.
Notes: If your party will want to eat lunch or dinner please do let us know in order to ensure that the kitchen is open during your stay. Room only rates are available on request. Where bathrooms are shared, they are shared with only one other room and the person in the room will be of the same sex.

Carr-Saunders Hall
Location: Northern end of Tottenham Court Road in the heart of the West End.
Size: 52 single rooms, 40 small twin rooms, 40 small double rooms, 12 standard twin rooms.
Meals: Breakfast served daily, lunch and/or dinner can be arranged for sufficiently large groups.
Availability:  6th July - 28th September 2013.
Notes: There are seven steps leading to the front door at Carr-Saunders Hall. The small double rooms at Carr-Saunders contain a 4' wide bed. The shared bathrooms at Carr-Saunders are uni-sex.

Grosvenor House Studios
Location: Drury Lane, two minutes from Covent Garden and Theatreland.
Size: 105 single studios, 32 twin studios, 27 double studios.
Meals: Option to self-cater or take breakfast at High Holborn, five minutes walk away.
Availability: 18th August - 28th September 2013.
Notes: Due to its layout, Grosvenor House is not suitable for groups of more than 20 people.

High Holborn Residence
Location: Just a five minute walk from Covent Garden, south of the British Museum.
Size: 309 single rooms, 94 twin rooms. Each cluster flat contains on average 4 other rooms sharing a toilet, shower and kitchen.
Meals: A continental buffet breakfast is served daily. No other meals are available.
Availability: 18th August - 28th September 2013.
Notes: Not suitable for groups of children due to health and safety requirements. We cannot guarantee that all rooms within a flat will be allocated to a group (but we will do our best to ensure that they are).

Northumberland House
Location: Northumberland Avenue- the link between Trafalgar square and the River Thames.
Size: 158 single en-suite rooms, 81 twin en-suite rooms, 10 double en-suite rooms.
Meals: No meals are served as Northumberland House is self-catered with several fully-equipped kitchens available on each floor.
Availability: 6th July - 28th September 2013.
Notes: Not suitable for groups of children due to health and safety requirements.

Passfield Hall
Location: Bloomsbury, near Russell Square and Euston Station.
Size: 96 single rooms, 4 single en-suite rooms, 40 twin rooms, 2 twin en-suite rooms and 14 triple rooms.
Meals: Breakfast served daily, lunch and/or dinner can be arranged for sufficiently large groups.
Availability: 6th July - 28th September 2013.
Notes: Due to the age of the building not all rooms are served by the lift. The residence is split into three separate blocks; it is possible that we will be forced to allocate across these blocks (but we will do our best to avoid this). The shared bathrooms at Passfield are uni-sex.

Rosebery Hall
Location: Clerkenwell near Angel Islington
Size: 147 single rooms, 60 small twins, 61 standard twin rooms, 18 twin en-suite rooms and 15 triple rooms.
Meals: Breakfast served daily, lunch and/or dinner can be arranged for sufficiently large groups.
Availability: 18th August - 28th September 2013.
Notes: Rosebery Hall is split into two separate blocks; it is possible that we will be forced to allocate across these blocks (but we will do our best to avoid this).
