Booking and Payment
How do I Book and Pay?
We only accept online bookings for the Internship scheme. A small deposit is required to book a place in residences. This will be deducted from your total bill. All bookings are processed by the Travelstay Network booking system. You will be held responsible for rent for the entire period booked and you may not sub-let rooms. Full payment will be taken in advance of arrival on 1st June 2010. You will be contacted with payment instructions in mid May. We cannot accept bank transfers as payment. For full terms and conditions click here
What is the minimum stay period?
To qualify for our lower internship rates you must stay for the minimum periods defined below.
  Arrival Date Minimum Stay
Before 3rd July Minimum departure date of 21st August or later
  3rd July - 17th July 49 nights or more
  18th July - 31st July 42 nights or more
1st August onwards 35 nights or more
If you wish to stay for a shorter period then our standard vacation accommodation still provides great value - visit www.lsevacations.co.uk for more details
Why does it take so long to search?
The booking system checks each day that you are searching for, as all bookings through this site are for long stays this sometimes takes several minutes, especially on slow connections. If you know which residence you would like to stay in you can speed up the search by selecting a residence on the search page.
I would like to stay in a residence not listed, is this possible?
Rooms at Grosvenor House, High Holborn, Northumberland House and Bankside House can be booked at standard rates at www.lsevacations.co.uk. Lillian Knowles House and Anson Road is only available to LSE students.
Can I book a twin or triple room?
Past feedback has suggested that Interns prefer single rooms so these are the only room types we offer through this scheme. Twin, double, triple and quad rooms can be booked at standard rates at www.lsevacations.co.uk
Can I have a guest in my room?
All rooms offered through this scheme are singles and as such overnight guests are not permitted to stay in your room. If you would like a guest to stay you can book a room with any of the residences (subject to availability) at www.lsevacations.co.uk. You can also book twin or triple rooms for the whole period in this way. Other guests must be signed in at reception on arrival, and signed out on departure.
