Overview:

 

Two of LSE's residences offer dedicated, professional, conference and meeting spaces. They provide ideal business meeting venues in the very heart of central London.  Unlike many other universities our facilities are dedicated venues, not classrooms and lecture theatres and are available all year round. 

 

LSE Rosebery Hall:

 

   

 

Situated close to the mainline stations of King’s Cross and Euston and only a short walk from Angel tube station, Rosebery Hall is easy to reach and an ideal location for both the City and the West End. Rosebery is particularly ideal for residential conferences, small events and one to one meetings.

LSE Bankside House:

 

 

 

Located on the south side of the River Thames, adjacent to the very prominent Tate Modern Gallery and just a few minutes from Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Bankside House is a prime position for Conferences, Meetings, Training, Seminars and Exhibitions.

 

Nearest Stations: Blackfriars, London Bridge, Southwark

Accommodation:

 

  

 

Bankside House has a range of bedrooms and apartments available the whole year round. In the first instance please contact the conference co-ordinator at Bankside if you wish to book accommodation and meeting space together.

 

Rosebery Hall has bedrooms available during the vacation periods (Christmas & New Year, Spring and Summer). Again in the first instance please contact the conference co-ordinator at Rosebery Hall if you wish to book accommodation and meeting space together.

 

If we cannot accommodate you at either Bankside or Rosebery Hall we have a number of other options available on our website. Alternatively, if we are unable to find you suitable accommodation ourselves then we can provide a list of local hotels and hostels that may be of interest to you.

 

 

FAQs: Frequently Asked Questions

 

 

Q: Do you pay commission?

A: Yes. Both Rosebery and Bankside pay a rate commission rate of 8%, which applies to the total cost of the invoice, exclusive of equipment and equipment hire. Please contact either residence for more information.

 

Q: Do you offer discounts for charities?

A: Discounts for charities are negotiable, please contact either residence for more information.

 

Q: Do you offer bespoke packages?

A: Yes. Rosebery and Bankside will do their best to tailor a packages to your needs. As such, prices indicated on this website should be used as a guide only and, depending on numbers and specific requirements, are open to negotiation.

 

Q: Is accommodation available?

A: Accommodation is available at certain times during the year, at both Rosebery and Bankside.

 

Q: What are the nearest tube and over ground rail connections?

A: Both halls are extremley well located for both tube and national rail connections with multiple arrival routes available. For Bankside the nearest tube stations are Blackfriars, Southwark or London Bridge and the nearest national rail connections at Blackfriars, London Bridge or Waterloo, all of which are approximately a ten minute walk away. The closest tube stations to Rosebery are Angel or Farringdon and the nearest rail connections are Euston, King's Cross, St Pancras and Farringdon.

 

Q: Do the conference rooms have an internet connection?

A: Yes, both locations offer wireless internet using studentcom. 

 

Q: Is video/phone conferencing available?

A: A soundstation 2 phone is available at Bankside House for phone conferencing (external calls are chargeable). Video conferencing is not currently available.

 

Q: Are the rooms air-conditioned?

A: Neither Rosebery nor Bankside offer air-conditioned rooms, fans are however available.
