Passfield Hall earns
prestigious award
LSE Vacations is proud to
announce that Passfield Hall was recently named a
silver winner at the prestigious Visit London
Awards, 2008.
Passfield’s achievement came in
the category of “Best Budget Accommodation”. In a
record year for entries for the awards and a
shortlist of six competing together on the night,
the silver win is an exceptional achievement at a
ceremony that encompasses the whole of London.
These awards acknowledge the very
best that London tourism has to offer and
Passfield’s silver win reflects the hard work of the
whole team over the past year as the hall continues
to provide affordable accommodation in the heart of
London. Located in ten beautifully restored Georgian
town houses, Passfield offers excellent central
London accommodation with a range of modern
facilities.
The team were presented with
their award in November at a glitzy black tie
ceremony in London’s Royal Albert Hall. Other
deserving winners included the Science Museum,
National Theatre and guest of honour, “London’s
favourite Londoner” award winner Sir Michael Caine.
Music was provided by Right Said Fred and Heather
Small with Mayor of London Boris Johnson giving his
first major speech on London tourism.
