Top tips to make your stay as affordable as possible:

- Book early. The closer we get to August 2010 the less availability there is. Book as early as you can to ensure you get the cheapest room available for your trip to London. There are only a limited amount of discounted rooms on offer, the earlier you book the greater your choice.

- Be flexible about when you stay. Try to avoid the busy August bank holiday weekend (28th - 30th August) as our availability is lower at this time. We usually have the most rooms available between 13th - 27th August so try and visit London then if you can and beat the bank holiday crowds and queues.

- Be flexible about where you stay. All our residences offer discounted late summer rates and all residences are excellently located for the major sites of London. Trafalgar Square, St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Shakespeare's Globe and many more famous attractions are all a short walking distance from our different residences. 4- Consider a shared bathroom room type. Booking a room with shared bathroom facilities will reduce the cost of your stay. Shared bathrooms are cleaned every day and there are more than enough facilities to ensure there are no queues for the bathroom!  What's more standard rooms in Bankside House share with just one other single bedroom!

- Look out for Room only rates. From 13th August, some residences offer room only rates at a saving of £2.50 per person. This is perfect if don't fancy getting up for breakfast or would like a lie in!
